Our client is a long-established Italian company with an internationally recognized reputation for producing high‑quality hydraulic components. With a well‑established range of valves for the industrial sector and new products dedicated to the earth‑moving and agricultural machinery sectors, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the Iberian market.

We are therefore looking for a:


Freelance Area Sales


OBJECT

Reporting to the Commercial Director based in Italy, the new Area Sales will be in charge of developing and consolidating the business in Spain and Portugal.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, develop, and build loyalty within the existing sales network in Spain and Portugal (direct customers, distributors, OEMs).
  • Carry out continuous business development activities, identifying new commercial opportunities within the target sectors.
  • Promote and sell the full range of company products.
  • Analyze the market, monitor competitors, and propose growth strategies.
  • Plan and conduct sales visits throughout the assigned territory.
  • Prepare commercial offers and support the entire sales process through to closing.
  • Provide periodic reports to the company regarding performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical and internal sales departments based in Italy.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Residence in Spain.
  • Previous commercial experience in hydraulics, fluid dynamics, or industrial components.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Advanced PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Spain and Portugal.
  • Ability to work autonomously as a freelance / independent sales agent.
  • Sales experience in the off‑highway, agricultural machinery, earth‑moving machinery, or similar sectors.
  • An existing active client portfolio within the target market is considered an advantage.

  • Organizational capabilities and autonomous management of daily activities.
  • Effective communication and strong relational approach.

COMPENSATION

Freelance collaboration with direct invoicing.
The compensation package includes:

  • Fixed component
  • Variable component equal to 4% of the generated turnover (excluding key accounts)
